"After 30 years of owning a home, I had my first claim last year. I was told by 2 local contractors that I had wind and hail damage. The SF rep came out and said that I didn't need to worry...I had none. I'm a senior with limited balance so I couldn't get on my roof to see who was lying to me. Turns out it was SF. The damage was real and letting it go for a year caused significantly more damage. The insulation in my attic is molded and I could put my finger right through my kitchen ceiling. SF didn't deny the clam a second time....they gave me $200 to cover all the damage to my roof, my insulation, and my ceiling. In looking up reviews, it turns out they are notorious for denying claims and I wish I would have taken the time to look into SF. I hope I can save someone else from making the same mistake I made."
